This is my favorite thing here. The salmon is always perfectly cooked with a generous portion over a very tasty salad. I also love the dressing. On a side note, Rick is the best server!!! I'm always treated really well.

Hi, I am a volunteer Ambassador with the Walkway Over The Hudson as well as a Certified Tourism Ambassador for the local Dutchess County tourism organization, Discover Dutchess. I went to dinner tonight along with 7 other people which included Ambassadors for both organizations. We had a wonderful time. The eight of us enjoyed seven different entrees which included 3 steak entrees and everyone raved about their meals. Our orders from the bar came out timely and while one of us had an issue with a wine selection it was addressed quickly and with a smile. We finished our meal sharing three desserts which were also delightful. As Ambassadors for both organizations one of our objectives is to steer visitors and locals to places of interest and restaurants that may be to their liking. We will be sure to include the Poughkeepsie Steakhouse as part of those recommendations for a place to "grab a bite". Special thanks to our waitress, Jenna, for anticipating our needs without being obtrusive. I wrote reviews on Yelp and Google to spread the word. Thanks for a wonderful experience, we will be sure to return.

I you think you want a filet-o-fish think again! Here you get filet-o-whale! The hand-breaded filet was not overcooked or greasy. The coleslaw was very finely shredded and the fries were crispy. Well worth the value!

Went here to celebrate my birthday. Sat by the fire ,so cozy. Had the delicious hamburger and French fries. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. We will be back!
